Hansen Bros. Moving and Storage is proud of our team of dedicated professionals, many of whom have had long and successful careers with our company.

Larry Nelsen, Owner and President

Born and raised in the Seattle area, Larry has strong ties to the community and is owner and president of Hansen Bros. Moving and Storage, a fourth generation family owned business started in 1890 by his great, great grandfather. Larry is a Certified Moving Consultant and brings over 35 years of experience in the moving and storage industry.  

Management

Dave Cullen, CFO
Dave joined Hansen Bros. in 1991 and is responsible for the overall financial management of Hansen Bros. Dave enjoys working for a small business that is committed to providing the best service to its customers. Dave is proud of the fact that Hansen Bros. is not content with being "just a moving company", but is continually finding other ways to meet their customers' transition needs. Dave lives in North Seattle with his wife and daughter and, in his spare time, enjoys golf and his daughter's many sporting events.

Rhonda Nelsen, Human Resources Manager
Rhonda has worked for Hansen Bros. for over 20 years. She manages the Human Resources Department as well as assisting in the Accounting Department. A lifelong animal lover, Rhonda volunteers as a docent at the Woodland Park Zoo and takes her shar pei, Mona, to the dog park every chance she gets.

Alan Holm, Sales Manager
Alan has managed the Sales Team at Hansen Bros. since 1994 and is a Certified Moving Consultant. Alan draws from his 27 years of moving industry experience to help coach, motivate, and challenge each member of his Sales Team to become the "go to" professional for any moving and storage needs by their friends, neighbors, relatives, and professional network. Alan grew up in the Everett area, graduated from Central Washington University, and met his wife the first day of class. Off time is spent camping, salmon fishing, traveling, and landscaping.  

Administration

Kay Alexander - Customer Service
Kay has been working for the Hansen Bros team since 2009. She handles the billing for in-state household and office moves, receiving customer payments, and setting estimate appointments for our sales associates. Kay is happy to help address customer questions and concerns for in-state moves, and acts as a 'switch board' for incoming calls to assist you in reaching the correct person to address your needs. Kay lives on the Eastside, enjoys taking long walks with her dog, reading, and working on various art projects.

Glenn Hutton - Accounting
Glenn has been a staff accountant at Hansen Bros. for almost two years. He takes great pride in his work and enjoys the process of collecting accounts receivable. To relax, he enjoys watching The Weather Channel and caring for his family's pet greyhound.  

Interstate

Dave Jedlicka - Interstate Dispatch & Quality Control Manager
Dave started with Hansen Bros. in 1994. He has held a variety of positions in the company and is now the Manager of Quality Control, as well as the Interstate Dispatcher. Dave works to make sure that Hansen Bros. is following the highest standards possible and also is an advocate for the company long-haul drivers. Dave and his wife of 17 years live in Bothell and he sits on the Board of Directors for the Washington State Wrestling Association, where he is also the official State Photographer covering the sport at the high school, college and senior level.

Vicki Klein - Interstate Customer Service Manager
Vicki has been with Hansen Bros. since 1995. She has concentrated her time in the Interstate Relocation arena; working with customers, carriers, and drivers. Working through problems and coming up with workable solutions, providing customers with peace of mind is a very satisfying part of her job. In her free time, Vicki enjoys scrapbooking, sewing, and spending time with her three young granddaughters.  

Newcastle Branch

George Walker, Branch Manager
George joined Hansen Bros. in 2007 as the Newcastle Branch Manager. George prides himself on having provided excellent customer service for over 30 years in the moving & storage industry. George enjoys spending time with his wife, three kids and three grandkids, fishing, camping and following all types of motor racing.

Zach Bucholtz, Operations Manager
Zach began working for Hansen Bros. in 2004 as his first 'real job'. He began as a crew helper, then became a driver, and was promoted to the position of Operations Manager in 2010.  Zach enjoys helping customers through the process of making a successful move to a new home. Outside of work, Zach's number one priority is family - spending time with his two boys, brothers, sisters, parents, and grandparents.

Dave Albaugh, Relocation Consultant
David has worked for Hansen Bros. Moving and Storage since 2002. He enjoys offering exceptional customer service throughout the moving process. David understands moving is usually a stressful time and excels in listening to the customer and tailoring solutions that are cost effective and individually appropriate. David lives in Edmonds with his wife and two children. He and his family enjoy the outdoors; especially fly fishing, backpacking and soccer.

Jim Dessin, Relocation Consultant
Jim joined the Hansen Bros. Moving and Storage team in 2010, bringing a background of over 24 years within the Allied system.  He began with Allied as a local crew member, and subsequently held positions including driver, sales, and operations manager. In his spare time, Jim enjoys coaching softball, fishing, and perfecting his skills with the barbecue.

Jenny Samson, Relocation Consultant (Inside Sales)
Jenny has been part of Hansen Bros since April 2008 and currently holds responsibility for the inside sales department at the Newcastle Branch. She enjoys providing excellent customer service and the satisfaction of a job well done. In her spare time, Jenny enjoys watching old movies and Sumo wrestling events, and spending time with her family.  

Seattle Branch

Rich Larsen, Branch Manager
Rich has served as the Seattle Branch Manager with Hansen Bros. since 2002. Prior to that he worked for over 20 years in the truck rental industry. Rich prides himself on serving the needs of customers and enjoys when a customer calls to share how hard the crew worked, how courteous they were, and that they made the move a lot easier than expected.

Rick Rahn, Operations Manager
Rick joined the Hansen Team in 2001 and is the Operations Manager of the Seattle Branch. Rick enjoys working with his customers to ensure their moves go as smoothly as possible. Rick enjoys working on cars, camping, and spending time with his wife and his dog Linka.

Scot Steffy, Relocation Consultant
Scot joined Hansen Bros. in 2010 and brings his experience as a National Sales Manager for three large corporations outside the moving and storage industry. Scot has a strong track record of dedication to customer service and meeting the needs of his customers. At Hansen Bros., Scot is focused on developing corporate customers, building relationships, and streamlining relocations for both the customer and the corporation. Per Scot -  " I am a firm believer that once you hire a new employee, the first encounter your company has with him/her is their relocation, If it goes poorly, the company looks bad, but when it goes well, the employee feels that much better about both their new job and their new home". In his spare time, Scot enjoys spending time with his family and coaching motocross riders. 

John Smith, Administrative Assistant
John joined the Hansen Bros. team in 2010 bringing 5 years of customer service experience with him. He handles the packing material sales for the Seattle office and helps set estimate appointments for our relocation consultants. He prides himself on making sure every customer completely satisfied. John lives in Bothell with his girlfriend and two cats. In his free time enjoys watching sports, hanging out with his friends and playing his guitar.

Lynnwood Branch

Jim Mueting, Branch Manager
Jim joined Hansen Bros. in 2003 as the Newcastle Branch Manager and then became the Lynnwood Branch manager in 2006. Among his top priorities are continually improving how Hansen Bros. conducts business and building the company’s presence in Snohomish County. Jim and his team are committed to ensuring that our customers’ experience is the best possible. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Doane College in Lincoln, NE.

Bruce Crabtree, Relocation Consultant (Inside Sales)
Bruce started with Hansen Bros. in 1998 and has served in many capacities including Operations Management and Outside Sales. Bruce likes the variety of his job and working with people that really appreciate the assistance he provides. In his free time, Bruce enjoys travel, golf, photography, gardening and fine food. 

Joseph McAvoy, Relocation Consultant (Inside Sales)
Joseph joined Hansen Bros. in 2010 as an integral part of their sales department, to which he brings over 15 years of sales experience to the team and prides himself on being empathetic to the client’s needs as well as customer satisfaction. Joseph lives in Lynnwood with his wife of 12 years, three children, two cats and two dogs. Outside of work he enjoys football, camping, fishing, golfing, scuba diving, hiking and reading.

Brian Reppert, Relocation Consultant
Brian has 16 years of experience in the moving business and has been a part of the Hansen Bros team since 2005. He is responsible for providing accurate and cost effective moving solutions to his customers. Brian enjoys the variety in the clients he sees on a daily basis because it enables him to tailor each move to meet the client's needs and expectations. Brian lives in Monroe with his wife and four children. His passion is spending time with his family which usually entails heading to baseball games all over the Puget Sound Region. Some day he hopes to rediscover his golf game.

Office & Industrial Moving

Michael Stepney, Relocation Consultant
Michael began his career in the moving & storage industry as a teenager working in the family business in British Columbia. After moving to Seattle to attend The University of Washington, he continued to expand his knowledge of the industry both in operations and in sales/project management. In 1996, Michael joined the Hansen Bros. corporate sales team with the primary responsibility of developing and promoting the corporate relocation services division of the company. Since then, he has assisted more than 4,000 businesses with moving their facilities and their employees to a new office locations and homes. Michael currently lives in the Bothell area and when he isn't helping his clients with their moving needs, he enjoys spending time on home improvement projects, camping and especially windsurfing.  

Freight & Shipping

John Burlingame, Freight Sales
John has been with Hansen Bros. for over 30 years and he is the expert when it comes to shipping freight.  John likes working with people and finding solutions to their shipping needs.  In his free time, John enjoys collecting and watching old movies.
