We have been scammed by a moving company in the past, so I was very wary of using any moving company at all. BBB recommended Hansen Bros., and when I reached out, Pete was great and answered all my questions (there were many questions). The crew arrived on time on move-out day and loaded our goods carefully. Allied Van Lines moved our goods safely to Chicago, and Reebie Moving & Storage unloaded our goods into a 4th floor apartment in a timely manner. Hansen Bros. coordinated all three pieces of the move and kept us updated throughout the process. It was such a relief to know our goods were safely delivered. That is not something to take for granted with so many players trying to scam you in the moving business. I appreciate that Hansen Bros. Moving & Storage is a company that I can trust. Thank you.

Our trip was LONG haul, nearly state to state but they handled all packing up, storage and moving in like absolute pros. Would definitely hire again!

I didn’t expect that moving across the country would be so much hassle. I called several companies and it was a pressure mill to sign on and they would lower the price to other companies but you have to go it now. I lost money with one moving broker in Florida. Beware of brokers!!! Then when I looked at the DOT site online I found Hansen Bros. here in the Seattle area. When I called I was surprised no pressure to sign on, explained the entire process no hidden fees. Very professional good communication all the way throughout the move. Never being without knowledge what’s going on. I thought there had to be a catch!!! But nothing at all. The price they quoted is what I paid. The team was extremely helpful from my first phone call until the delivery was done!!! Even after everything they inquired how it all went for us. I really don’t give out high scores because companies can make improvements! In this case I don’t know what they could have improved. I will recommend Hansen Bros. hands down to anyone! Juergen

Hansen Bros. was recommended to us by our dad's new assisted living facility, Ida Culver House Broadview. Our two movers were great. They wrapped everything well, including a few pieces of art that I hadn't wrapped myself. They were also able to disassemble a heavy recliner that was going to be tricky to get out of a room--I didn't know it even came apart! They reassembled it at the new apartment and made sure it worked. Everything was moved with care. Overall a great experience and I will definitely use Hansen Bros. again!

I handle move-in, move-out maintenance for a good-sized apartment building in West Seattle. Recently the friend of a soon-to-be tenant confided in me that her friend was overwhelmed by the logistics of moving. I had a great experience with Hansen Bros. earlier this year, so I suggested she call them. The upshot is that she did, the move went smoothly and with little impact to the other tenants (or the building!). I’ll continue to recommend Hansen Bros. whenever I get a chance. The crew called to tell me they were in Everett and a little late getting started which was fine because I had time to tell my sister the correct arrival time. When the truck developed a problem, my sister called me to say there was a delay. Later the general manager called to tell me what needed to happen, which was that a crew had to be dispatched to the site (2 hrs) to move my furniture to their working truck and then drive the 2 hours to the destination. It ended up being a late day for me and the crew but everyone was courteous and careful with the furniture even though it was a hike up 3 flights of stairs with the heavy furniture at 9:30 pm. a little strip of veneer on a side of the credenza was missing, but they found it in the truck! They were very helpful in every way.
