First of all, I did business with Hansen because you are a local business. I did not contact any other company for even a quote. Second, everyone at Hansen was fantastic - professional, courteous and just a delight to work with. Third, the crew was outstanding...from the moment in and the last moment out. They could not have been better Tony Jackson, Nick and Josh. So if you want to use me as a reference feel free. Just one comment - your prices seem very low for the amount of work that was done, but I did tip them I thought heavily. Thank you!

Since everything that could go wrong has gone wrong since we signed to sell our house, I anticipated non-caring unreliable service --and especially from "movers" that you hear such negative reports about. I was so very impressed with the professionalism of all the people who assisted with the moving and their nice personalities.

The crew was great -- and Joel is really terrific. He works very hard and was good about troubleshooting how to load the truck. The foreman informed me halfway through that we might need a second truck (!) and could schedule that for the following Monday (!!), but Joel stepped in with ideas to load the truck to accommodate everything carefully and with no damage. This is nothing against the crew - they were great. But I asked for carpet covering at my new home since the carpets on the stairs / upstairs had just been cleaned. They informed me they couldn't use blankets and didn't have the adhesive thin covering I had in mind because it was "too expensive". I consider protecting the customer's carpet a cost of doing business -- either charge for it if asked or bake it into the overall cost of the move. Not putting anything down to cover the carpet was not OK with me. For me, it was the difference between a "good" and "extraordinary" experience.
